This week

It has been a quiet week, the internationals take up this weekend and not having any money to spend in the transfer market. Means that you do not keep an eye out for the wires on transfer dead line day.

What the Saints did get, was a player called Gasmi with a broken foot, not quiet a three legged donkey but I guess that is all we can afford.

We then have to wait until next Sunday afternoon with our visit to QPR before we see any action, so the doom continues and then the furious pace of games rattle through with three games in six days with the Carling cup match four days after that.

We do not have a strong squad as it is and so hold out no thoughts for predictions, At least two of the games are back to back home games so I might just try and find out what the odds are on back to back saints win next week. Probably the same odds I would get of a three legged donkey being first goal scorer I guess.
