Preston are 2 goals up and there is 26 mins to play, a Saints fan would be now thinking, Oh no here is another defeat to add to the collection. But three goals later ( One scored by Surman as I had advised on this morning ) and we come away with all three points.
This will be a boost for the side and the fans. So many times we have grasped defeat from the jaws of victory, most notably against Leeds when we were three nil up and lost four three.
The points only take us one point above the drop zone but at least we are not two points with it. Now we need to string two wins together and make it a good christmas for the fans.
